07 - Dual Booting (new single disk drive) WEB DESIGN VIDEOS - PHOTO EDITING VIDEO CLIPS

----(Part 2 of 2)---- Dual boot installation**NO THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE IS REQUIRED**\n\nThis video will take you through how to install a dual boot system. This video assumes that:\n\n- you only have one hard drive installed,\n- there is 40960 MB (40 GB) drive space,\n- you are dual booting Windows XP (Home Edition), and Windows Vista (Home Basic)- that **NO** OS is installed (and disk is unformatted),\n- CDs are prioritised over Hard Drives\n\n\nThings you may need to know to help you install the software efficiently:\n\n- there is 1024 MB in 1 GB\n- you will need an OEM CD (from Microsoft), this is a shiny disk, and it should say \"Distribute only with a new PC\", or \"OEM builders version\",\n- you will need all your driver disks (from the appropriate companies, such as NVidia for a graphics card),\n- you will need your activation code.\n- partitioning means splitting your hard drive into two \"sides\". Think of is as eight slices of cake as eightpartitions.\n- formatting makes data writable.\n\n(Please don\'t be put off if you didn\'t understand any of the above, as I\'ll explain it clearer in the video, if necessary).\n\nIt is much easier than it seems!\n(There are two videos, and they\'re both linked; this is the second video).\n\nONE LAST THING: There is no camera facing the computer monitor. Everything is directly recorded.[I refuse to take responsibility for any damage caused to your PC whilst following these guidelines - you follow entirely at your own risk.]\n\nPrevious video: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mtQJcaKWt3I\n_______________________\nAny music in this video is completely made by myself.
