When you decide to start up in a new internet, online or home business there are several things that must be in place to ensure your success. Now the most difficult decision you may have to take is choosing your sponsor.There are many reasons why this can be difficult and I will try to outline some of the problems that you will have to face when choosing your sponsor.For me it appeared that there were more sponsors than opportunities and this turned out to be true. Many questions came up in my mind when trying to sift through all the people who were offering to sponsor me into business. I had to think long and hard about who to choose and several things beganto fall into place.\n\nI noticed that there were many different independent sponsors out there representing the same companies. However most of the sponsors lacked one thing that I considered to be of utmost importance to the security of my position within the company. \nThe difference being only a handful of sponsors actually had the support of a team of people who had years of experience you could tap in to for knowledge additional help. \n\nFor example suppose your sponsor was on holiday or worse still if your sponsor left the company, who could you turn to. So that made me realise this team backed approach should be one of the requirements for joining any company.\n\nI also found that some of the sponsors were slow to return calls; this implied that they were not so good, or perhaps they take on too many new people thus leaving them with not enough time to look after all the people they hadrecruited.\nMany sponsors fail to promptly return calls after you had spoken to them a few times.\nSome of them left little contact information, for example only a web address.\nThese things should ring out warning bells to anyone looking for a reliable sponsor.\n\nNow it is not just reliability you need to look for, you also need to know if your sponsor can deliver the knowledge that you will need to be a success in your business. \nSo remember to ask them how long have they been in business and what their background is. \n\nNow knowledge is important however, honesty is one of the biggest things you should be looking for because no matter how good any of the above are, a dishonest person can leave you in the cold and with no team you will have no where to go and could easily fail in business.\n\nThis is why it is important to speak to your sponsor if possible; you can often get a better feel for your sponsor by talking with them and learning a bit about them.\nI would rather choose an honest sponsor with little knowledge but a strong team behind them than a sponsor I was not comfortable with.
