In 2002, my wife Heidi and I visited some friends in Pérols, France and were privileged to watch a tradiontal sporting event called \"encierro.\" The object of the game is for a team of young men to pull bells from the horns of an angry bull. The film\'s visuals follow the minimal repetition of Reich\'s music and slowly builds and evolves from the men&bulls to children and finally animated gesture drawings of them.Illustrations were done by Heidi Haun and the coloring of the illustrations was courtesy of Rachel Kang.
