The Parry is Wrong part 2 of 3 WEB DESIGN VIDEOS - PHOTO EDITING VIDEO CLIPS

The Parry is Wrong is a Star Wars fan film which my buddies, Atlas, Sam and Heath, from Home Depot and my brother Rich decided to do back in 2003. I was given a novel \"Homeland\", by R.A. Salvatore, from Sam and said that there was a grand mele scene that would be great for the film. So I adapted the story to a script and scene sequence that would be convincing for a movie. We wanted to do something different with our sabers other than cutting and slicing, so we came up with the idea with stun sabers. These sabers, when in contact with people, would emit a pulse of electricity to temporarily paralyze the opponent. If you were down, you had to redo your saber training exercises. I did learn how to make lightsaber effects in Adobe Photoshop which took an extremely long long time to do for my effect and other effects through ALAMDV 2. My friends, Heath and Atlas, decided that they wanted to have a unique saber to duel with so I had made a double bladed saber that breaks away to trip opponents to the ground, if they kick, or to wrap around their necks and throw them to the ground. The other is a staff saber to keep opponents at bay. My sabers were toys from Wal-Mart and the blades were 1\" PVC pipes which perfectly fit into the hilts but were heavy and hindered our full ability to fight at a decent speed. After the movie was completed, I learned to do my saber effects in Adobe After Effects which would have saved me oodles of time. But overall for my first film, we had a great time, had lots of fun and broke a lot of knuckles. Be sure to see part 1 of 3 and part 3 of 3 of The Parry is Wrong.
